In Kyoto, plum and cherry blossoms tend to bloom a little later than in Tokyo or Osaka.

By around noon today, the cherry blossoms look ready to begin blooming—hints of pink are already visible.
The early-blooming double-flowered cherry trees are now in full bloom, and fresh green leaves are beginning to appear on the willows.
