This horsetail was photographed by me in the spring of 2021 in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. In Japan, horsetails and butterbur sprouts appear around the end of winter. These plants bring a sense of the coming spring, brightening the dark and cold feelings of winter.

This is the piece from the first day of training. I think I might have painted it a bit too much. Next time, I might consider reducing the saturation.
On this day, I traveled alone to Gifu Prefecture. Since I visited a rather rural area, the train station also had a nostalgic, retro atmosphere.

The next morning, I rented a car and explored Ena City in Gifu Prefecture. The horsetails were the first to make me feel the arrival of spring. The blue Persian speedwell has been one of my favorite flowers since I was little. The cherry blossoms and rapeseed flowers were also beautiful.
This area is famous for its autumn foliage, but I highly recommend visiting in the spring as well.
